A Journey of Discovery and Growth

I began my career in the NHS as a Registered Nurse in 1999, and by 2006 I had trained as a Surgical Care Practitioner. Although I first worked in colorectal surgery, I quickly found my true passion in bariatric care, where I’ve remained ever since as an Advanced Bariatric Surgical Nurse Practitioner.

Over the years, I’ve also broadened my expertise—working as an Acute Pain Specialist Nurse for more than six years, becoming an Independent Prescriber over 12 years ago, and since 2018, leading the design and delivery of an NHS Tier 3 adult weight management programme.

This journey has given me a deep understanding of the challenges weight can bring—not only physically, but emotionally and socially too. My goal is to walk alongside you, exploring the best options to help you make meaningful, lasting changes to your health and wellbeing.
